What to Expect as a New Patient
Our program operates by appointment and we are often able to schedule your initial visit within a week of your call. Your first exam will include an in-depth assessment by a nurse and physician to understand your wound. This may include labs, radiology, and vascular studies. From there, a specialized treatment plan is designed to heal the wound as quickly as possible. Patients are typically seen weekly by a physician and assigned a nurse case manager. Please arrive 30 minutes before your appointment time to register and fill out paperwork. Please bring a list of all your allergies and medications along with your insurance card. Plan on being here for at least one hour for your initial consultation.
